ABOUT

Why we do what we do?

For over seven years we have had a passion for working with young people in Upper Hutt, particularly those who would otherwise be overlooked or forgotten.  Kickstart was established to enable the continuation of the programmes and initiatives begun in the community, helping to provide young people with opportunities to realise hope for a better future through our youth centre.

"To connect and journey with young people through creating healthy spaces and experiences that enable them to discover their worth, see new possibilities for their future, and contribute positively to our community".

OUR STAFF

Say hello to the dream team at Kickstart, and find out exactly what makes each of them a uniquely valued member of our staff.

Without each of these changemakers we'd just be another non-profit organisation.

IN THE NEWS

We've been under various spotlights within the local community as well as the wider regional community, including winning the Wellington Airport Award for Education & Child Youth Development in 2015.
